You have to find a place near you that does Anodizing or usally plating. If you have problems finding one ask around at some Bike Building shops near you, they usually use plating and anondizing.

the place near me did it for 75 bucks.

I've also heard that paintball places do a lot of anodizing.

It definatly has some worth while options compared to the standard UK kit. It will be a slightly stiffer car with the optional top deck, as well as come with every spring you may need for foam tire racing. From there, you can download some set-ups from the website as your starting point, as I'm not sure if the manual illustrates carpet set-up, or is a basic manual.

Another popular carpet option which you would need to purchase seperatly are the 79121 (low roll center) blocks. They are sold individually if you would like to purchase them. It takes 8 to complete the whole car.

So, when the bearings in my $55 aluminum steering knuckles lock up or explode into small pieces, what's the best way to get the shell of the bearing out of the hub so I can replace them with $24 bushings?

Don't hit anything and make sure there clean and they shouldn't be exploding or locking up on you anytime soon
