CorallyUSA, when I had my Assassin I always had a problem with the diff slipping, have you guys had any problems with this on the new car??? Will the light weight diffs be released at the same time as the car???

We have not had problems with the old or new diffs. The RDX will come with the lightweight diff and yes they will be available at the same time of the release for purchase.

Default Driving impressions

Chris, any driving impressions of the car yet? I see you did well in Florida and I am interested in hearing more about the car before it arrives. More importantly, expected/suspected carpet setup basics so I can get testing for USIC, USTCC and other nationals using foams on Ozite/Dupont. Also, any plans for an editable soft-copy of the setup sheet?

Thanks!
Greg

Greg...

We got your preorder. You can get parts from Stormer Hobbies, Superior Hobbies or call us directly if you can't find anything. There is a list of dealers on the site as well. The ones I named stock almost every part.

We are working on an editable version of the setup sheet.

I can't wait, but I'm scared. I absolutely love my Assasin and the set up is dialed by the help of Chris T. It took a while and going through it all again to get the right set up is where I'm scared. I'm still up for it though.

Let's hope they're not stuck in customs for two months like the X-ray T1 FK

I'm hoping we'll see them by end of next week in our hands...

Seaball,
The "package" will be available Sunday night. Just remember our arrangement, and it will all go smoothly.

Default RDX

Edseb,

I don't think it will be to long now. I believe that most of the CorallyUSA guys are at the hobby show in Chicago.

You won't be disapointed with the car when you get yours. I pieced one together taking apart my Assassin and purchasing the different parts seperately. The only parts that aren't available yet were the light weight diffs and the center layshaft. I created my own temporary layshaft which works well, it is a little heavier though I'm sure. The car looks great and feels great as well.

I have only run it once so far, I will be going to the track today (Sunday) to test. I am running Modified 10t, with foams. By the way on its only run, the car was really good, I let 3 other people drive it, all of them have quite a bit of experience and they all had positive things to say. My Assassin worked well for me by the end of last carpet season, but I think that the RDX will be a major improvement still. I will post later tonight how the car does after some solid testing.
