All Carpet Spec Kits we received are shipped out. You will need to review our dealer list to try a few places to see what is available.

We would recommend getting a 00166UK. If you add a 3.4mm Topdeck and a Silver Spring Set then you will have the Carpet Spec.

Default GTX Wiring

If any of you guys run the GTX in the car, could you please post a pic of your electronics in the car (if it's neat of course). And if you somehow got the power cap in it somewhere, try to have the pic show it. Thanks.

dude lay it on its side the heat sinks facing the front, put it right next to the motor , than you could zip tie the cap to the upper deck laying on your servo....try this too ...shrink ALL esc. wires its a pain but NO glitching....cool

I have the wire side towards the motor and the cap zip-tied to the battery wires. It's been working just fine for me...

That'd be something for Jeff a.k.a. CorallyUSA to answer when he gets on.

OK, thanks.

I am going to get one this week or this weekend. I am going to run rubber on blacktop during the summer, then foam on carpet in the winter. Which kit to a get now and with what to change it from carpet to blacktop and vise versa?

If you're going to run outside now but plan to run on the rug later, I'd suggest getting the 0166UK kit. It comes with the 4 degree blocks and front diff. I have been using that on carpet/foam on low, medium, and medium/high bite and it has been awesome. The 3.5 mm topdeck is a nice feature of the Carpet spec, but not essential. Jeff Dayger finished 2nd in stock at the carpet nats with a UK kit (3 mm chassis plates).

As far as bang-for-your buck goes, you can't beat the Carpet spec, as you get the X-hard 75% arms, 4 degree blocks, 3.5 mm topdeck and silver spring set. If you got this kit, you would want to get the Black spring set for rubber tires and probably the 3 mm topdeck, but that depends on how high the grip is at your track.
