Default asphalt setup

Jeff i ran about 20 packs sun on a soda sprayed track and ended up close to what you posted ..the only difference is i ran a oneway and the ultra low blocks seemed to over heat the tires faster ,once the track got over 100 deg.So i ended up at the 2 position with the std blocks.Car was dialed.only improvement would be a little more initial steering.

Aaron...... yeah, I am fine tuning a new setup without the Ultra Low blocks. Like you said, it overheats the tires. I just posted a setup I knew would get people around the track.

Does anybody (RPM, perhaps) make ballcups that are a good fit for the RDX using the existing ball ends? Part numbers would be great.

RPM 4-40 are works good but I am seriously considering Xray cups and ball ends for less slop.

Yup, there is hardly any coverage on the web.

Not even the Orion site mentions the Euro's!

Anyone know of anybody with plans to make composite caster blocks? Those aluminum ones get pricey!

I'm just thinking about buying all of them for the full range of adjustment. It's over $100 bucks!!
I'll be down when I get my new car, or maybe a rent a ride for the next points race.

I've never seen a concrete trac k before.. is it like smooth or brush finish?

Most tracks we riun on here in the states are either asphalt or ozite carpet.

I would imagine it would be close to a asphalt setting.

Is there a spray on it ? or is the surface left untreated? If you have photos I'de like to see it.

Track is brush finish but foams definitely won't work. Do have pics but just want a base setup that might work.
