I wasn't, but that is true. They are weak, being made of only brittle plastic. I've had a lot of them and they were all made the same. I recently bought two of my childhood favorite RC (Nikko Jet Wave) so I know they won't break as long as they're not abused. The two I got are in good shape even though they're over 15 years old. Most toy rc's have a top speed less than 20mph so its not like they have to handle high speed crashes.

It states in wikipedia that hobby grade rc cars are also called RTR RC Cars.
In the product desctriptions of all the places where I found my Countach it says it's a RTR car. Does that make it hobby grade?

Oh and someone mentioned about the interior, I can see all the components at the far rear of the car. I think because of the big size of it they could add an interior. I might just be talking crap.

Too bad I have forgotten any info bout da car. It probably would of stated if it was toy grade.

The reason I made this thread cause I was thinking about selling the car and I looked through some websites trying to find sellers for info but there were none. I did find that ebay one though.

My friend pointed me to this forum and I can tell basically everyone here are big RC car fans. You guys are talking about technical stuff :p
I was hoping someone on here would of been like:
"Hey I know dat car, *tells info and stuff* normal price is about blah blah amount"

The problem that you have encountered, is the fact that it is a toy. The members here are racers. There is tremendous amount of knowledge here about HOBBY GRADE r/c cars. The car you are asking about does not have the proportional controls in the radio, the parts are not replaceable, and when the inventory of the car is sold out, the mfg forgets it ever existed and makes a Hummer or Ferrari or some other throw away toy.

Don't be offended by the lack of help. the members here just don't know or care about toy grade cars.

If you had a vintage Tamiya Road Wizard, or Kyosho evolva or something like that you would have rec'd 10,000 answers

It wouldn't really matter if the parts need to be replaceable and stuff, just don't mash up the car simple as that. The controls are fine. You got accelerate, reverse, and turning left and right with joysticks.
What else do ya need exactly?

I've seen some of these expensive rc cars on websites and they are just circuit boards with an outer shell. I thought having a more detailed car would be better imo.
It seems like these toy grade cars are the more nicer looking cars.

Put the lambo up against a modern TC (AKA TCX with standard 17.5 turbo gear) and you will see which one is the TOY! The lambo would just look stupid moving along at walking speed.

This is why most guys in here are laughing at the lambo.
