Ya gotta set the rules or things can get weird. Like other tracks here there is a NO PROFANITY Rule. I would announce this at the start of each event to let them know there were women, children, truck drivers, pool hustlers, and Tattoo artist present and we did not want people to be offended by poor sportsmanship. Keep it simple, keep it fun. Don't let the dummies ruin the show.

your just assuming that... when it is explained right to ppl and the more ppl that know about it the more the ppl are going to respect what they are about and what we do...
if ppl arent interested in what we do they will yes think it is a toy... but ppl that are interested will take a step back and go wow there is a difference between playing with as you say "slotcars" compared to what we do.
I am thinking you look at everyone that doesnt drive a rc as a person thinking its a toy....
Good luck with your thinking.

Entry fees can only cover so much entertainment.

We actually have a kid at our track somewhat like this. He is fast. Tebo fast...

He is 14, and has a huge attitude. We had a big 3 day race a few weeks ago, he TQ's (over Tebo) and won the first race, 2nd in the 2nd, and wrecked in the 3rd main with 30 seconds to go, and gave it to Tebo...

He-keep in mind being 14- yelled MOTHER-F***** and threw his 4PK on the track and stormed out in tears.

And nothing was said or done about it.

THAT-is wrong. The race director is a very well known one at that, and has taken this kid under his wing...so he just let it go.

Yeah this thread is truly "out of control", what with people freely expressing their opinions, no direct names having been posted. nobodies reputation being hurt, oh the inhumainty to man.......Please stop it before more opinions are freely expressed. We just can't have that!

Not so sure about that. I for one am intrigued by the aforementioned idea of Trophy Girl Hookers. How much will this increase entry fees?

Mehhhhh...................usual sponsored douches. Depending if there were kids around, I would have dragged him outside and had a "talk" about it. Toys this, toys that, fuck that noise. I work hard for my stuff, don't have a whole lot of it, but what I have I take pride in. Disrespect me by doing that, we are going to have a chat about it. I get in your way, ask me to take my car off while you do a couple of laps.

this was said very well....unless you were born with a silver spoon up your a$$, the rest of us work very hard for the cars we have and when somebody breaks it on purpose it makes us want to do things to that person. the main issue is the race director anywhere needs to make sure the pimp hand is strong and make it known to everyone that you do something wrong at the track then there will be punishment and we wont have issues....but in reality its always about the bottom line and track owners and race directors will usually let stuff go in the interest of keep ing that racer and his cronies coming back with that race entry every week.

I think I saw a old top Corally driver throw his transmitter in the wall at a carpet nats in Detroit at Josh's old place. I have never seen a transmitter shatter in so many pieces!

Locally we have a lot of fast off-road racers that are just as bad, they dont kick someone elses car though! I have seen them walk off the stand holding full trigger while some poor corner is chasing the car around like its out of control! But never have they attacked someone elses property.
