I think the punishment depends on how far the car was kicked?

All jokes aside, whether you are sponsored or not this is unacceptable behavior. The kicker should apologize to kickee as well as pay for all damages. If this a recurring event, then the kicker should be banned indefinitely until further notice.

Agreed.
In the heat of fierce competition things happen.
I'm also sure that sponsored guy is a sandbagger

Agreed. Let it go. So what he kicked it. Dude might have deserved it. No reason to call sponsors and what not. Back in the day, that was called tattle telling.

I'm sure it was bad to see, but nothing that should have people, suspended indefinitely.

As long as dude paid for parts he broke, and BOTH said they were sorry, let it be.

I've ran several tracks for years. Everyone knew the rules from day one. I even handed them out to the racers. You have a problem you come and see me. If you don't want to see me then stay home. If you have a major problem like this guy did that was easy. Gone forever...period. I only had to ban one person. the rest took the hint to see me first. If they get a case of the stupids to the point of calling the police then you add those two words to his vocabulary...ass whoopin! Then wait for the police to pickup what's left. No problems, ever.

It's not tattling. What's stopping him from bringing gun? He could paint v on the wall and start shooting point blank. People in this country are crazee. Stop this bad attitude now or the hobby will never grow.

must of been a resson why he did this stupid act, we need the full story from both sides. maybe the xray racer deserved it? even so pretty dumb to do somthing like that. thats the kind of stuff that turns people away from this sport/hobby. there should be some punishment for it or even for both of them depending on what happened

Better yet ...how did we get to where it is o.k. to damage the property of someone else? Damage my property on purpose outside of racing on the track and you WILL go to jail, it's that simple!!!!!

must be a Georgia graduate.

If he damaged the car then yeah something should be done BUT if he didn't even make a mark then I think he should be let off just once.
Well that's my opinion anyway.

What if the person who got his car kicked was intentionally taking the other person out on the track. Say, punting the sponsored guys car, intentionally hitting his car every time the sponsored guy tried passing. Then on the last pass attempt the sponsored guy is intentionally hit again and his car is sent to the wall broken. While the other guy laughs and says "you can't pass me, you cant pass me" in a silly voice mocking the sponsored guy.

Is kicking and breaking the other guys car in order? no, it is not, but it does shed some light on the events leading up to the KICK!
