Castle Creations 1/10 Sidewndr Sport ESC + 4600 kV. Anyone have experience with this setup?

i would like to know also. how would this run on 3spack

I'm writing this assuming you are wanting to just bash around rather than race competitively.

Sidewinder and 4600kv motor is rather good in smaller vehicles. I've played with a HPI Cup racer running the SideW/4600KV combo and it was a rocket on 3S Lipo.

Also used them in crawlers and SC trucks and they were quite respectable although not spectacular.

In saying all that: The Mamba Max Pro is a lot more ESC for not much more money - unless space is an issue as the SW ESC is smaller.

yes iam just free style bashing , should have also said this would go into a slash 4x44 or a pede 4x4.would this still be a good choice. thanks

Sorry to bust in this but i just ordered the 4600 combo sidewinder for my rustler xl-5. I figured this would be good for bashing. I'll eventually upgrade to lipo. Any good recomendations for lipo batteries
