you ask that question as if that sounds like a really weird request! Is it?

You should be able to use the same settings with 212 and get the exact same result. Not really anything changed, except for min throttle and min brake.

the min throttle and min brake is made the car feel so much better with 212... Plus the other difference I noticed from any other firmware til the new 212 came out was the brakes on a brushed motor didnt really work at all and very weak.. But with the 212 it fixed the problem and the brushed has brakes just as strong as what you can setup with brushless.

Trust me nothing besides those three things has changed between 208 and 212.. You can use 212 without the min brake and min throttle anyway by turning them of and ta da you have 208

i presume you want 208 so that you can see the current setup. if you jump to 212 the setup will be blown out.

there is no reason not to move to 212, but if you want a copy of 208, PM me your email address and i can send a copy to you.

I think the 212 has too much hesitation when getting back on throttle. I suspect they incorporated this to give it a less on/off feel to the speedo but all it does is seem to make it slow for TC, anyways. This is probably nice for offroad guys, however.

I'd say go with 208.

Not true. 212 has min throttle and min brake settings to alter the feel right off nuetral as well as the standard nuetral width setting.

Play with these adjustments.

I adjust mine by setting the car on the ground by touching the throttle and assuring the car moves as soon as the trigger does.

Onroad seems to be higher say around 15-20. Offroad is around 10. 1/8 is 0 actually as they move right away all the time.

I could see your point if you compared 203 vs 212, as 208 and 212 is much smoother (giving faster lap-times, but feeling slower), but 208 and 212 is almost identical. The only difference is that you can set min throttle in 212 (which can take away som "hesitation").

Oh, and 212 also got MUCH stronger brakes. Now I actually turn down my brakes.

Ya and it always seems to get me into trouble

Thanks Randy for the suggestions. Are those numbers referring to min throttle?
