Maybe we change with the values so they have the idea its the batteries why we win and not the motor.
Maybe the competition changes the values so they can say how good are their motors with those bad batteries?
It's only stickers, they write all the stuff they want on it.

1.200 or 1.195 makes a difference of 0.03V per pack.... not enough even to see or feel the difference.... There are plenty of 1.190 to 1.198 for sale.... At the Reedy race 2 of the top 4 drivers have been using 1.17 batteries....they complained about too much power with 1.19.

Gregg has made the correct statement.....thank you....

The 'stararmatures' are/will be for sale as the David Spashett version.

That's interesting to know.

Sorry oscar, i didn't mean to offend you, maybe the values were just to make people talk indeed

By the way, I am of the people who do not believe in values, at least, i do not compare the values between two brands. To me comparing values from orion and reedy is non sense, as you sure know there are too many paramaters that can make these values vary.

onefor you thats why they are selling them under the spashette line.
if they sell certain amount to the public then it wont be a hybred one of a kind.
technically its a motor available to everyone!

I think it is cool that Hodapp and Oscar take the time to come on here and give us some insite to what is going on with Orion/Peak. I know I have loved my V2 based mods in both sedan and 2wd buggy. I got to see Hara's motor at teardown during the ROar Nats...cool looking arm. Will get in line for one of those when released.

Greg- any Xray thoughts on coming out with a Shaft drive car? That Pro 4 did look sweet in Portland.

Thanks

Jeff

One4u2nv - I happen to work at Peak and the arms we cut the grooves in, are ours and not Trinity.
