rc_square24 is correct, this is what Hara is using although only one plate under his pack. Hara says they are USD 50.00. A similar item is used with cell phones.

Whether or not this actually works is difficult to prove. Hara is no faster (speed) than any other V2 drivers like Surikarn, Hodapp, or Groskamp.

But the mind is what matters. If you think it makes you faster, it probably does to a certain extent. And it keeps competitors from realizing the real reason he is so fast.

Howhart-Not sure about that one....I thought Hara had the fastest Orion powered car at the Nats. I am not saying you or Hodapp were lagging in horsepower by any means...Hara's stuff was ballistic

eddie OMG, here's the scoop which I'm sure you already know I don't know but with these new NiMH's I would hit 'em hard at like 8-9A for their very first initial charge.
