Default New Corally TC!

Finally Corally have made a car that looks like it can Whoop some butt. Unlike all the current Assasin one's that allways had something wrong with it.

I have to admit, great looking car:

May be so. But remember that Corally have been the victims of copiers with almost every car they produced, so perhaps there's a bit of poetic justice there.

But then we could carry this to so many other manufacturers.

In reality I suppose the first twin belt scale touring car of any significance was the original Yokomo YR4, so you could say that every twin belt car was a copy of that.

But I don't think the new Corally is as blatant a copy of the Tamiya 415 as the X Ray was of the Corally C4.1.

I think Corally have made a huge step forward with this car, their previous assassin incarnations were very nicely engineered, but had had a few design flaws that look to have been sorted.

The drivetrain is a proven and familar design (unlike their previous direct drive mode) which should help its sales. But there are some nice touches that make it stand out from the 415/x-ray, i especially like the rear shock positions and the rear body mount set up, it also looks like it will have a very free drive train and a very low CofG.

With a well known name doing well with it in America and two cars in the top ten at the Euros it has already produced results, it will be interesting what happens when it hits the shelves.

Cheers
Chris

COBRA. You and I obviously don't share the same translation of the word exotic, unless of course the word exotic means that dealers have an excellent trade in chassis, but I have no intention of starting a polemic here.

CHRISSY. Agreed. I think this is the first time Corally actually have a world class driver in the US. The new car will compliment Tosso's skills I am sure.

Did the Corally 4.1 come before the RS4? If not, then every two belter out there is a copy of the RS4. Not the very first RS4 that had gears in the back, but the one with two belts
