Default Inexpensive new brushed motor for RC-10?

I'm trying to find a few inexpensive brushed motors, around 450 to 550 size, to throw into an old RC-10 chassis and let my son run it around. My old one has pretty much died, and even replacing the brushes hasn't helped much, my guess is the commutator needs the attention of a lathe (or worse).

This isn't for racing, more just to bash around on the local cul-de-sac and nearby dirt piles.

Anyone know of a place that sells simple can-type motors inexpensively? But new ones, so they aren't worn out (yet)?

Thanx all!

You can try either you local hobby store or tower hobbies on the net.
You could also try the swap and sell section. Since most run brushless motors many of us racers probably have boxes of used and new brushed motors, I know I have few I am trying to sell.

Have you considred the HPI brushed motors? For example, here are two that I know are great for bashing:

HPI Saturn 20T 540 Type

HPI Firebolt 15t 540 Type

These are inexpensive and should meet your requirements.

Cheers!
