Default Looking for A cheap esc with lipo cut off

I know i searched, and this has probably been asked.

Im trying to get my father into rc racing, I have built him a car and im looking for an esc that is on the cheaper side that has a lipo voltage cutoff. For the time being it will be running a silver can, but i would also like the ability to throw in a brushless in the future.

Any recommendations are appreciated
Thanks.

Maybe the Novak GTB 2, 100.00 flat I think.

*Edit, I realized you asked about a ESC that can do brushed. I don't know if my suggestion can help you there.

How about a CC Sidewinder? Around $70 or so, and they have a rebate promo going on right now too.

+1 Novak GTB

GTB2 comes out in December $99
Add a Ballistic motor for under $100
I love my GTB, 4 years old and still going strong.
