Default Thoughts please.. rspro or mmp 1cell for 1/12 CRC genXL

So... here is the thing. I've got a tekin rspro, but I think I want to swap to a mmp 1 cell so I can use my program card for quick changes with out a PC. Anyone think of reason to not switch over? I already sold my tekin rs in favor of the MMp's in my 1/10 xxxt and xxxcr because they were as fast if not faster and super easy to tune with the pit card.

Advise please?

The main reason I can think of to run tekin vs MMP is trackside support. I never want to be the ONLY person at a track that has a product. You have no one to share set ups with when you have the only one.

Not sure how it is everywhere, but it seems most places, the MMP is NOT competitive with the RS in a 12th scale car, just not as fast....I believe You can set up an RS with a couple different profiles or different settings that you can access during the raceday without a computer...

1) not big one,but a huge mistake
2) weight and size matters
3) different products,different strokes
4)never seen an MMpro having better times against a Tekin RSpro.
BTW ,i own both but i'll never use the MMMpro on anithing else than an offroad car

Does the voltage cutoff work properly w/ the rspro for 1s like it does in the mmp 1cell? This is handled by the novak smart boost right? The esc cannot do 1s or am I wrong?

On the weight and size keep in mind the rspro you have to use a external booster or rx pack with it.. this funtion is built into the mmp so as far as weight and balance and wire neatness.. the favor lies w/ the mmp 1cell. Rspro is 2.3 oz then add the novak smart boost at .48oz (not to mention the wires) and you are at 2.9oz easily.. the mmp is 2.8oz with wires included in a nice package. I assume indoor carpet racing is a lot different than the offroad that I am use to, but I can make the mmp scream w/ the c'heat' dialed up on the novak ballistic motors. I have some nice 50c 5400mAH 1s packs to help.

This is my first 1/12 carpet car anyway so I'm sure it will be a while before I get too anal I'm pretty good outdoors on the offroad track as well as the indoor offroad carpet track, but this is my first stab at the 1/12 car carpet track.

Thanks..

Hmm maybe I was wrong about the mmp 1s, it looks like that needs external booster as well.. so I guess the rspro would win by ,5 oz in weight. I guess the real winner would be the tekin rs, forget the pro not needed in a stock class anyway. Even a few oz lighter than the rspro.

Exactly. You only need the pro for full blown mod.
