Default NEW JR Racing Transmitter

Hey guys i wanted to post this thread about a new JR transmitter. Its called XS3 PRO. Instead of the black finish on all the JR controllers (XR3i, XS3, XR3 ect.) it has a nice silver finish. It also has a nice grip around the handle. Then it has an adjustible trigger for more comfort. And last the reciever is smaller than the last XS3 reciever. And also has a nice foam grip with a carbon fiber and red steering wheel on it.
If you have any questions or comments plz post them. I just wanted to tell you guys and cant wait till it comes out.

It's been on the Horizon website for a couple of weeks now.

That radio just has to be the ugliest i've ever seen! But the functions and price will probably be better

I didnt see that picture on their website. I guess i didnt look hard enough. That radio looks pretty cool. I think it would look better in a metallic blue or red. Its just a waist of money. Its not that big of a change between the PRO version and the XS3 (older) version.

That will take some getting used to....the black one suits me just fine, though

It could, however, definitely use the smaller receiver.

I think it looks great, except for that crappy steering wheel. It would be easy to spray one of the original wheels silver and drop it on though.

Or what you could do is take the shell off and spray paint the shell what ever color you want. That would be easyier than buying the whole transmitter.

My local shop already has them on backorder so as soon as they are available they will have one. I already have one on order from the shop. I like the additional memory that the new Pro has. 10 models vs 6 standard. If I bought the normal one I would already have used up all the models as I have 6 cars now and more than likely will have a few more.

I guess the color thing is a take or leave it kind of thing. Some will like it and some will hate it. I really like the features, new smaller receiver, and being synthesized for any channel is a big bonus.

Do you know if the new smaller receiver will work with the older XS3? Thats the main drawback to me is the receiver size.....takes up alot of space in an Xray even mounted on its side.

I dont know. I'm happy with my XR3i it works fine. I dont want to spend 240.00 on a transmitter. I got my XR3i for 100.00
So i feel i got a good deal. Still i would like the XS3 PRO but dont have the money.
