BRCA ( UK) new rules/classes
Does any one know what the classes are and where it all going???????
In my view we need to slow club racing down and make it kinder on equipment?

for UK nationals, it will remain as;
Unlimited mod / lipo
&
10.5 / lipo
still remaining as 5, 2 day nationals, at the same venues as last year;
Mendip
Cotswolds
Aldershot
Halifax
West London
(not sure which order they will be in)
also there is the view to running a "clubmans" national series
with 13.5 and 17.5 with no timing (boost/turbo/whatever)
running 1 day nationals.
unsure about venues and dates etc.

If clubs want to slow things down, they need to make their own decision on that.
I race at a couple of small-ish indoor clubs and 13.5 timed is definitely too fast. 13.5 untimed is just about OK. 17.5 timed does similar laptimes to 13.5 untimed but still looks a bit tasty on the straights.
BRCA is a good insurance policy but following the rule book verbatim is a mistake at club level.

13.5 instead of 10.5 for BRCA failed.
Everything has basically remained the same.

Thanks its good to know, but I always think that clubs are in a difficult position, If they slow things down to much drivers that go to big races whilst novices need to learn how to handle a car before the extra speed.
With a lots of clubs struggling to make up numbers it may difficult to split classes- my view would be 13.5 timed and silver can, but as you say BRCA does not make classes at club level.
on a selfish note a hobbywing extreme stock now seems like good christmas prezzy!!

Size is small and weight low, most of the top drivers at my club are using this esc.
