Lucky you.... With one single exception every YR fan we have had has failed on battery voltage in two racemeets. They are pretty good up until then but why chance it? The MM fan is better on BEC voltage so thats all I use now and it does enough.

The Yeah Racing tornado fan puts out up to 5.5 CFM of air at 14000 rpm.

I've been using it in my 3 race cars for a year without any problems and it is pluged into my spectrum receiver.

Here's a link for a cool video!

Enjoy.

I love YR's typos.

So I used to run fans on my ballistic (hooked up the an LRP sphere) to lower temps for the purpose of gearing so I could have more strait away speeds. I was operating at about 160. Is this why you guys hook up fans? To gear up? Or just for better operating temps? I'm not currently running any fans because I switched to tekin and I'm getting fair straits speeds without any fans or boost in RCGT. When I got better though, if I want more speed, should I add a fan to gear up? Thanks.

It's worth testing no?

If you lower your temp by 10 degrees than you could go 1 more tooth on the pinion.

If you lower your temp by more than you could go bigger on the pinion and fly by the competition! LOL

Have a nice day

Buddy, I can tell you that I compared it to a Novak high speed fan that

blows 3.1 cfm of air and there is no comparison between the two, the Yeah

Racing one blows tons of air, a lot more than the Novak that is supposed to

have 3.1cfm, so that 2.1cfm I don't believe in it !

Just my 2 cents

I believe per Roar rules, 1 fan for the motor and 1 for the ESC. So that won't work.

But if we're going to throw Roar rules out the window, then the LRP 40mm fan wins.

I really dislike the 30mm fan rule.
