Default variable timing - sensorless?

Are there ESC's that can apply variable timing on a sensorless motor?

I know a Tekin ESC can apply it when running sensored or in dualmode ... but when without sensor?

You can't have variable timing in dual mode, only fixed timing. Once the car is rolling, it's sensorless.
Variable timing works from feedback provided by the sensors, I don't think back-EMF from a sensorless motor provides that info.
I may get corrected....

The latest version of hotwire on the tekin not only applies to dual mode but strictly sensorless as well. So, yes there are esc's that can apply variable sensorless timing; the rx8, rs, and rs pro.

JR007 -- not only is it possible, but you own an ESC that does it!

See Krio's response above.

Krio is right.

We do have variable timing in both the RS line and the Rx8. Dual mode is simply a sensored start with sensorless operation. We can still manipulate the timing without sensors.
