I haven't yet raced at WCRC, but I've watched several of the races that are going on Tuesday night. Everytime I've been in attendace (5+ times), that very same AE driver that your are talking about won the 17.5 boosted ESC race. I just got an xray T3 and T2 009 becasue of driver support and I grabbed them dirt cheap of a xray pro that was gettingt he new t3 2011. I'm coming from gas (MTX4r), and I set up the 009 for the 21.5 super GT. I'm running the Novak Ballistic with a FDR around 2.92 (55P & 88S), does that sound about right?

I agree that the car are almost identical in handling. I think that when considering which car to get one should consider the cost of setting up the car first and the support for the car at the LHS second, third and just as important as the first two drivers with the car at the home track. The drivers that have the car will be able to offer insite regarding problems that will come up with the new car.

Just last week Paul and I went for a little test and tune session.
I had him try my TC-6 and he had me try his T-3-11.

I can tell you this: I without a doubt preferred my car over his. I'm sure Paul would prefer his car over mine.

Bottom line is both cars were very close in performance.

I would look at a few things: price, parts support and customer service.

Get the car that suites you best and HAVE FUN!!!!

Yeah I have gone for a 2010 xray t3. Felt it was better getting my feet wet with a 2nd hand car before going all in

Hi Josh,

I would like to know if a tub chasis have different handling characteristic from a pro kit (no any brand in particular). I'm presently driving a TA05 and considering a pro kit. I'm concern about the learning curve between both cars. I'm a rookie in rc.

Tks.

As you're a team driver maybe you'll know.

Whats the big hold up at associated with this car? Did they forget to print the word optimized after everything new on the car in the manual

The car is "optimized" but I don't recall seeing that in the manual at all.

I wish I knew what the problem is.....but I don't.

The way i look at it: if they did have a problem its best to fix the problem and disapoint some racers by having to push back the release date instead of shipping a car that is missing a part or has a piece that doesn't fit properly........waiting for a great car is better than thinking you just wasted a bunch of money on something that isn't right.

Default hi

if it was me making the choice i would go for the xray 1.you may have to pay more but you will get more out of them! 2.if you have a t3 already you can buy the upgrade kit to make it the 11 3.they are just brilliant!
