Issue with losi shock matcher
I bought the shock matcher in question used at least 6 months ago. Today, with a ton of time on my hands, I decided to rematch my shocks. I did it once before, but never double-checked it by switching the shocks(left and right), bushings, etc.
Anyway, when I double checked it today, I noticed something weird. The shocks that were matched(by length) in one sequence, would become unmatched when switched.By a good deal too, at least 1 notch. I changed around the bushings, but I had the same problem. Really fustrating.......
Anyone have an idea on what's wrong?

When they are switched left to right, or vice versa.

Okay, tried it with a different set of shocks and switched around the screws, same problem.

Okay. Looks like the pointer just isn't centering. The "dead center" line is actually one notch to the left on mine. Go figure.

I found the same thing on mine

yah i don't think mine is perfect either... they aren't exactly precision instruments but they are good enough to get close.

Otherwise, I smell a recall coming on...So Losi can replace the obviously well hidden electronics in their shock matching tool...he,he...
