I used to use some old Skool Trinity Team Magic steel pinions but I recently have changed over to Robinson purple alum gears. I can't get my car as quiet with the Robinsons and it seems they dent and chip from pebbles relatively easily. What pinions do you guys run?

I use Robinson black aluminum pinions. I'll probably replace them, as needed, with PRS gears. I just bought some PRS spur gears and was very impressed with the quality.

Light and strong.

I use some form of delrin water cut spurs. They tend to flex a little when tightened but are very smooth and quite. They are also very resistent to picking up rocks due to the narrow design. No idea what brand but they come from europe.
