What is the BEST touring car?
I've done a search on this already, but I want to know which TC has the most pontential, ie. turning, accel, top end, tuning options etc. Seems like the tc3 is the ticket but I want to be different. If the tc3 is hands down the best... guess i'll just join the crowd.

I'm looking at price, availibility of parts, performance and the amount of opition parts the kit has.
The HPI RS4 series, hands down.
Looking at how many championships a kit has won?
Can't really tell what is...... I pretty much own or have owned them all, except the Pro4.

I askesd Mike Blackstock about a week ago of any word on a TC4 and he said not for awhile. Theres nothing in the plans for now he said assoclated was bringing the same TC3 to the upcoming worlds. So just pick up a team tc3 there great. Than maybe add a BMI chassie and your set.

my opinion is that there is no "best" tc,
its all about driving style.....
all the top cars are capable of winning against each other.

Well there has to be a point were quality comes into play, besides driving skills. Like for example... an hpi pro2 vs. a FT TC3 with the same electonics setup. The tc3 is the better car. I want to know which car will perform the best out of all of them. Quality, durability..etc. Someone who has been around electric onroad for awhile should know...but everyone has their opinions.
John Tag: do you have a link to the BMI chassie?
Also does anyone have any video of stock and mod class racing?

I'm with Onnetz, I hate these threads. Because there is no "best car"! It's all about the driving. It's 90% driver 10% car, if you cant drive you got nothing. Just get a descent race-level car. There are many to chose from. Associated, Xray, Losi, Yokomo, HPI & other companies offer them. I'd chose on parts availability & what other drivers use. Because they can help you on setup & stuff.

Their has to be a best. The tc3 for example its race proven and so many drivers use it. Then theres the xxxs... also race proven and a lot of driver use them also, but which one is truly better. Say if I set each car up with a 12 turn double and a gt7 esc. and geared them equally.Dragged them straight which would be the faster car??? Things like that...or which driven train gets the most power to the wheels.

I think it has to be with driver's preference & setup at that point. I like to drive other people's cars so I can see how they drive. That's what I do when I'm looking to get a new car. Around here nobody really runs the TC3 anymore. It's all about the Mi2 & Xrays. Some other parts of the country it's Losi or something else. I think they're about all the same.

if there simply was a "best" tc then the others would be out of business.....
no matter how good a car is, if your not comfortable with the way it drives, your not going to win...
I think that with the more technology that goes into these cars, the closer the gap is between each brand. and thats a good thing because it creates more competitive racing..

So the on track difference is not noticable enough to say which is best?
