It started life as a stock zero s, and eventually ended up as 90% zero, cheaper than the full zero kit still. It still retains the FRP chassis since I run on parking lots sometimes.

seasoned rc hobbyist, i need your help
im having 2 problems with my zero s.. any help is appreciated
1. it wont track staight. i set the steering trim, its straight for a while until i make a turn, then its either going to the L or right
second. when i hit the throttle from a dead stop it pushes to the right every time.
why is this and how can i correct it?

Hmmmmm....Sounds like you using the original servo saver.
Bin it and buy a proper one.

He means that after you wrecked or hit the boards the chassis might have tweaked on you. The plastic in the s is notorisally soft and a hard hit could pull the screws out some. Loosen the screws on the top deck then push down on the chassis on a flat surface and tighten the screws back down. That should remove any tweak you would get in the chassis.

Check the clearance on the servo saver and the top deck too. My servo has a long output shaft on it and the linkage was hitting the top deck just enough to hang the steering up. Took a little off the top deck and works just fine now. Drove me nuts for weeks trying to figure that out, looked fine on the bench but under load on the track the chassis would flex and then it would hangup.

I read the entir thread and have some cuestions:
* The new SSK (double) driveshafts are a direct fit?
* To convert the rear end to XI, I may swap rear arms, or the arm holders too?
* Could I use the split arm mounts with the original S chassis. I was thinking on make bigger the small holes on the original holes for the plastic knobs of the original plastic arm mounts.
* Which chassis flex more The XI or the standard fiberglass S chassis
Thanks in advance, and Merry Christmas!!!!!!
