You may also find purchasing the optional sway bar kit + mounts will be beneficial in regards to how well the car handles through the infield. The first upgrades I purchased before running this car were the springs, sway bars, shock bodies and CVDs in the rear. It all depends on the driving surface, you might find that they don't make a difference, but it's always good to have them

Regards

Hey! We missed you at Moose Jaw!
If you run the Sakura spring set, I have had luck with 4.5 in the front, 6.5 in the back - 45 weight all around with 3 hole piston.

#4 sway bar up front, #3 in the back

Hey thanks for help again Chuck and yes I'm still a sakura fan
I have some health issue's right now That doesn't allow me to race or drive .
I'm still waiting on our heath care system. Any way
my wife says I get too stressed out
So I never really got to set my cars up. Last real time I spent on it was in Saskatoon. :-(
Are you running spool? How much rebound does your shocks have? What's your thoughts on the xi basic chassis?

40 wt shock oil all shocks
1 degree camber all wheels
1 degree toe out front
3 degrees toe in rear
6.5 springs rear
5.0 springs front
Lightest sway bar rear
stiffest sway bar front
front spool
80wt shock oil rear diff (I prefer the ball diff)
high roll center front
mid to low roll center rear
3mm droop rear
2.5 mm droop front
5 to 5.5 mm ride height
use sweep 32 or jaco blue for tires
full traction compound rear inner half tire on the front

this should get you started in the ball park.

Has any one change there servo position maybe with xi servo bracket?

Hpifreak make sure you ditch the stock servo saver ,I had nothing but bad luck with them.

Yea I ran it once and switched to an aluminum servo arm. The stock servo saver springs are stupid and do not return the arm to the center so every time I bumped something my servos trim would get moved. As for different servo mounting, I flipped around the mounts and bolted them onto the front of the servo so the linkage wouldn't hit the upper deck. Also switched to pivot ball ends for more clearance

You need to put a washer in the stock servo saver so it doesn't clamp tight on the springs. Worked for me

Hey friends

I'm building another Zero and I want to run the rear shocks behind the shock towers.
Pronoob posted the parts that I need but I can't find his post. Can someone tell me what parts I need please.

I live in Brisbane, Australia. Love the way these cars go and the X-ray guys are very nervous at our track.
Thanks.
