After the build, you will find that the front belt is in for a too much tension. I just adjusted the bearing blocks to give the belt a little tension at least while breaking-in the car. After some initial runs, the belt will loosen-up, re-adjust the bearing blocks back by 1 notch at a time till the stock setup...

I can't read Chinese(though I am Chinese :p) but I think they are saying that you need to take of some material away from the arrowed areas to prevent touching of the pulley and the belt.

If you are going down the road to upgrade the parts with alloy parts might as well go for the Sakura not the S.

However if you want to get spares and kit I suggest you get in touch with the local distributor in Malaysia.

The box stock Sakura S will be just right for a beginner. However, since I am assuming that it will be driven by a "beginner" - expect some broken parts to come up as the driver tries the feel of driving it around the track (most pros will eventually break some parts in their top notch car also). Upgrading is just an option for the driver - if he considered it as "option".

Now, regarding the issue of buying a full Sakura Zero as against the Sakura "S" with an upgrade, I guess (for me) upgrading the "S" is most economical.

Since you are in Asia, part availability will be a breeze. Some of the items may be out of stock, but they eventually re-stock them with no hassles.

Hey so are the zero adjustable shocks ok? Has anyone had any leaking problems?
Ive ordered a Zero S and the Aluminum zero shocks as well and my mate tells me the shocks are rubbish.

The shock itself ain't rubbish only the shaft guide is a bit loose.
I put Photon guides in there and a very little spacer in it so that the o-ring is abit tighter fit.
It still is smooth but i got a lot less play on the shaft now.
