What chassis?
I'm looking to build a Vintage Trans-Am car, what would be the best chassis to use for that? I was thinking of using my Sprint 2 but I hate the belt drive.

People use sprint 2s in the slower classes all the time. They can be set up to drive well enough with a bit of work.

Shaft drive isn't any better.

Belt drive can be great. The problem with the Sprint2's belt drive is the lack of cutouts below the diff pulleys, so it traps things and chews up belts and diff casings. If you dremel that area of the bottom chassis out it can spit out debris before it chews everything up and also make sure you have the front belt tensioned enough to not rub through your battery and get the motor placement just right so the belts don't hit the motor, then that particular aspect of the sprint 2's design will not bother you as much
