I have had two of them since October.

Havent had a minute's problem with either of them.
And they get abused every weekend.

Great Product.

It's very good esc but it's not water proof as they state. It's should be better described as water splash proof!

In the Euros where we had such wet conditions they were keep on burning because people used this esc without any protection.

What settings do you use on the quantum? I'm using a monster stock motor on a large track. Right now I'm on "5"

I think that 5 is the best setting.

Depands on how you drive to.

Hi,

Just got my LRP QC2.

Have tested it and it feels great.
Do you use the world option kit, and how did it feel compared to the basic QC2 without the kit?

Thanks.

Exclamation Be careful to buy LRP products

Warning to RC-Mart / Dinball Customers – Be careful to buy LRP products in this store, as defective items don’t have warranty. I was obliged to pay US$ 78.20 for repair fee, repair parts and so on in a LRP QC2 esc witch burned at the second run in less than 30 days!!
I regret to say that an e-mail sent to LRP had no answer.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. Same thing happened to me as well. My QC2 failed in the 2nd race of the day...

I'm never buying LRP again. I've bought 2 LRP speedys and both stuffed up .I've bought 6 NOVAK ESC and they are all still going strong without any problems

1 of them is even 10 years old

Im either on my 3rd or 4th Quantum 2 now, honestly cant remember. I got my first around January time, they blow up real easy in the wet, I have seen sooooooo many go its untrue. I got all of mine back free of charge though through the warranty. I treat mine as a non waterproof speedo now, if its wet I whip out the blu tac.
Yea, the world options kit does provide a slight difference in performance only due to the capacitor. Its abit costy though when any electronics shop will sell you a capacitor with the correct ratings for under $1

Friend of mine bought a "waterproof" esc, it blow on the first moist day. He sent it back to LRP, took LRP 2 1/2 months to replace it. Besides that, LRP didn't respond to his e-mail when he inquired how long it would take them.
When he got the ESC back he also found a $150.- bill included for whatever reason I cannot fathom.

Now my own Q2 blow up after 1 month on an indoor track with a 19T motor. I have sent it back about a month ago, so far I haven't heard anything from LRP.
Send them a few e-mails never got a reply.

LRP must be the worst company on earth ATM

I and a lot of friends of mine will never, ever buy a LRP ESC again.

I have had good experience with Novak and Team MRT (british). Both reply within 1 business day and usually within a few hours.

Sorry for the long post, but I have seen so many LRP ESCs blow up the last year and the fact of them not responding to mail really pisses me off.
I bought o frigging expensive ESC ($50.- more than a GT7) and I expect at least _some_ support.
Also they advertise with a waterproof esc, it appears it isn't waterproof but they aren't man enough to stand behind their product.
