Post Performance Devices FM-27/75 band crystals

I just wanted to let you guys know that Performance Devices have started the sale of their FM - 27 and 75 band crystals for the US market. Performance Devices is an aftermarket crystal manufacturer who makes oem spec crystals at the lowest prices. They are distributed by Tower and Horizon Hobby and have their own site at Performance Devices.

I picked up some of their 27mhz FM crystals for $15 a set. Those of you guys who have shopped for crystals know that 15 is about half the price of oem. Btw, I had to call them up for the FM crystals because I couldn't find it on their webpage.

They have all thier crystals on thier site where they sell their stuff, you just have to search a little.

Thier shipping is about $5.00, so it still beats the 30$ cost of the normal crystals

I bought some and used them for the 1st time at the US indoor champs (Cleveland), which has been known to have some glitches in the house. Worked great. Great price too.

What radio did you use it on? I was looking at either the KO ones or the Airtronics ones? Can anyone please post up their findings with these crystals? Thanks.

The shop where I work sells the Perofrmance Devices crystals for the GWS receivers. Those receivers have a reputation for being glitchy, but so far no one has complained about the PD crystals.

We don't even stock the GWS crystals any more.

I haven't sold any for the popular car radios, but if the perofremance in GWS receivers is any indication you'll have nothing to worry about.

I've been running these crystals for awhile. 75mhz FM in a Futaba radio and I've had no glitching issues with these crystals.
Great price too.

Kewl, thanks for the input everyone. My LHS started to carry these, and I wanted to know feed back on these before I invested in some of the crystals. Thanks again.
