Best 19 Turn for OnRoad?
Umm I am planning on getting a 19turn motor for this coming up race, and i was wondering since alot of people here race 19 turns, what motor do you recommend for my AE TC3???
I researched these type of motors being the populararound the tracks, but i really dont race 19 turn, i usually race modified... so what 19 turn do you recommend for 1/10 onroad, and why???

You cant go wrong with The first one on your list, the Reedy Quad mag...just put 767's in it,line the brush hoods straight across from each other so the brushes cock in the hoods for a 2 deg retard (most motor builders agree that this motor has a few degrees too much timing)and this is the fix without cutting the tab..... gear it 2 or 3 teeth higher than you would a chamelon....if your running a 72 spur on your TC3 start with a 28 pinion....

i like the Peak dynasty motors, the old style and the new vantage style, i run a TC3 and it is real quick and very consitant. i run mine with standard springs and PEK2159 brush's(old style motor) the gearing i run in big outdoor tracks is 65 spur and 31/32 pinion and on smaller tracks 65 spur and28/29pinion
just my views hope they help
good luck

Epic Binary Outlaw 19T, Adjustable timing, P-94 size brushes, four magnets, went up to 26 deg timing 28 pinion, EP1201 crosscut P-94 brushes, can easily hang with ten turn motors on straight. i run mine in mod all the time!

although i like the peak motor all motors are good if you can find the right brush's, and gearing it on the sweet spot. its' about playing around with it until it's right, its part of the fun . but with the new peak/orion motors you get such good brush and com wear it make's sence to run these motors as your saving money on brush's,
also see who's quick at your local track see what they are running and what brush/spring and gearing ratio they using, this may help you make up your mind
