I use jaco blues...they seem good....they are a good tire but in my situation the blue is the spec tires for stock in my area so I must get used to it...even thought the blue is the worst compuond they offer for my track in the blazing hot summers when we race asphalt.... the track temp is above their ideal most of the time and they end up shredding within a four or five hard race weekends of three heats plus a main..

on another note when we run them indoors on carpet the seem alot better and they last way way way way longer.

WCRC uses Solaris as their spec tires-- Hard compound with medium inserts--HIGH bite asphalt indoor track. We also use Jayco blues and they work well-but probably the best asphalt tires --and the most expensive--Sorex 36.

FWIW

sorex 36 has been the long time favorite at our local indoor asphalt track. However sorex 40s and solaris mediums are proving to be very effective recently.

Have a look online. They've been out of stock just about everywhere.

The Sweep EXP series works well too but only come in Dish wheels pre-mounted. Sweep's X3 sauce works really well with these tires.

+1 on the sweeps... as well as the sweep kitty rugs for indoor carpet... pretty much everyone local is running them...

Mayb Captain Obvious would of been better?? ... More of just a discussion other than where to find them. I'm aware that most of the cooler temps are out of stock.

Thanks
