Default DHI Cup 2011 - Odense Denmark

Hello Racers

Entry for the DHI Cup 2011 will begin at 19:00 CET on the 26th of October. The race takes place from the 7th to 9th of January in the same venue as the previous years in the Stadium Arena Fyn in Odense, Denmark; this race is a must for all serious electric racers.
This year Modified class drivers will get 1 set of LRP CPX controlled tires included in entry fee and the SuperStock drivers 1 set of LRP CPX tires and 1 Speed Passion V3 17.5 motor.
2010 SuperStock and Modified A-finalist will have reserved places until 15th November, there is not limit of drivers in SuperStock and Modified until 1st November, after this date we will see how many drivers we can put in each class, there is total max of 180 drivers, so be sure to get your entry in early to avoid disappointment.

A brand new carpet is brought to this event and it will be same type as used in 2010.

New for 2011

o Your have to make your entry on www.myrcm.ch
o EFRA Spec 2S Lipo and LiFe cell is allowed.
o bumps-up for the B final, the winner of the B-final bumps-up in the A-final!!
o last but not least: SuperStock and Modified A-final will be 6 minutes race!

Saturday evening we have a social event with bowling and dinner at the Bowl´n´fun in centre of Odense (not included in the entry fee) more info will follow.

Now this is the 11th time we are hosting the DHI-Cup and the race have grown to one of the biggest events in Touring Car racing, we have shown it is possible to have big RC race event in a small country, but everything have an end and DHI-Cup 2011 will be the final race of DHI Cup. We are working on new projects but nothing is decided yet.

If you already got a Speed Passion V3 17.5T motor, do I still have to pay full price?

The danish rules this year, is 17.5T with unlimited speedo & timing. But I don't know if that is what they are going with - but it sure looks like it.

All Super Stock drivers get a new motor in their entry.. no discounts for using your own motors.

Okay - but can I use my own motor? I don't want to use a new motor, if I can sell it afterwards as new.

You could try Billund airport which is closer to Odense but it does not have a train station at the airport. You could get to the Billund train station by bus.

From Copenhagen airport you could get a train which takes you directly to Odense city centre (about 1.5 hours). Then get a taxi to Stadium Arena Fyn in Odense.

Default train station

Does the train station run 24/7 or does it have certain hours of operation?

Thank you,
Patrick

Patrick,

Im not sure as I have always travelled by train from Copenhagen to Odense during the day. I'm not 100% sure if they operate late at night.

This is all i could find:

The trains run all night. It is not possible to see the schedules for 2011, but at the moment they run trains all night. Once every hour

So you should be safe. The ride is around 2 hours from Copenhagen airport to Odense.
