Having worked for Traxxas, I used to send out gears without asking many questions, a new servo may require you to send the old one in.

Yea they are sending me a new set of gears. That's all that I need, I don't need a whole new servo from them. So I am happy This would be the first thing I ever claimed on a warranty on any r/c. I feel I might've just gotten a bad gear set in my servo. I have never had any r/c part, let alone a servo, die so early in it's life. I'm going to see about loosening the servo saver. Thanks for the tip Justpassedu

An inner body like the HPI car has would be so cool. I may even try to find one for the hpi and make it fit. The under body one isn't as needed as the top half. Once they make that, then they can start pumping out some 1/16 bodies

Hey Snoop, thanks for putting it up on the Traxxas forums. I can't get into my ISP e-mail right now so I can't sign up for traxxas forum yet. Been trying to for days, it's killing me Feel free to copy/paste parts of this over there, if you could, just toss my name on it

Another idea might be to see if the mini revo body could mount up and act as an undertray...

Not a bad idea. I was thinking about it more, and I don't think the HPI one will clear the motor/transmission. I was thinking maybe a 1/10 4wd buggy body with the big hump in the middle might work, but yea a mini revo body would probly snug right up against the battery doors, just use some velcro to hold it.

Shown at the iHobby Expo. Pic from Xtreme RC's facebook page. No real info on it, but looks like everyone should be happy now. It looks like they made a brushed version, although it still looks like it has the VXL-3m esc on it, but it could just be the angle.

Has anybody played with the suspension to make it a little stiffer? The car in stock form is really soft. Anybody know what shock oil comes in it from stock?

It comes with 60wt stock. I have jacked up the preload to make it sit higher and it is deff stiffer. I turned them about 2-2.5 turns in from where the collars just touch the springs. Another turn or two and the spring would fully compress before the suspension does.
