Default Roadkill

Even in these conditions roadkills occure...

The car went of the track in one of the first laps, so this little worm must have been around the track a few times.

OLEC.

Interesting pic.

A friend had a similar incident a couple of years ago.

Half way through a race he heard a loud flapping noise coming from his Yokomo. It got so loud he decided to stop before causing damage.

On inspection he found that a condom had wrapped itself around one of the driveshafts.

Talk about taking precautions!!!!!!!!!!

Could have been caused by something like this

There was a sudden change of weather that day and no more baloons to borrow...

Today I heard from someone who was at the Euros there was a standing water of about one full inch at one place at the end of the main straight. Maybe that place were these pictures were taken.

Other news regarding the Euros.
Steen Graversen (TRF 415) isn´t running Corally motors and batteries any longer. He went into the Orion team right after that race.

I am happy to say that all my electronics survived the Euros.

I used a Vega 3.0 ESC and filled my KO 302 reciever with acid free vaseline. I used very heavy diff oil for offroad cars to seal up the edges and cable inlet/shaft output on my Hitec digital servo.

I also wrapped some wide duct tape around the endbell and left an opening around the motor cables about 2" from the endbell, I'll try to find some pics....

I allso used CS highsilver powermax brushes and I think they withstands any water who finds its way in better than regular brushes. I can't praise these brushes enough, they are great!!!

There were two "lakes" on the track. One after the short straight to the left of the drivers stand (1st and 2nd turn in the "S" combination) and one in the hairpin going out on the main straight.
