I had not noticed that it was silver. I thought it was chrome, so I was thinking spazstix chrome. I guess the Merc bodies are chrome.

Well according to the description and what I've seen, it is chrome. It's a little pricey...$14.00 for a can...OUCH! But if it looks good when all is said and done, it's worth it...to me anyway.

it is funny... especially when you consider that the Williams FW-24 body kit on the defunct F-201 chassis had stickers of "Veltins" a known brand of German beer.
and on the older F-103, the Benetton B-195 had "Bitburger", another brand of German beer. and on the even older F-102, the Williams FW-14 had Canadian beer brand "Labatts"...

it's ironic, isn't it?

oh well... looks like we will have to resort to buying an aftermarket decal set for the new Mclaren kit...

The rules are pretty specific that for the F104W you have to run the kit supplied tires. And of course no mixing of wheels, tires and bodies.

Greg, What are your thought's as to how the F104W will perform compared to the regular F104?
