Thumbs down

Don't walk, RUN from that one!! There used to be a thread on here by him. It was full of complaints and got deleted (not sure by who).

1) I found them to have nothing in stock.

2) No way to contact them

3) Once you send them money, forget about it, its gone!

This a hard question. No one will be totally happy with any store.

My personal and objective experience: ordered once. They send me an email AFTER i paid in credit card because they didnt have one the items in stock. I changed it for a similar item.

after that i had problems with customs. To make a long srory short, the package was sent back to hong kong without me ever being informed that i was suposed to deliver a receipt to customs (rcmodel didnt include one in the package).

They sent me an email asking me what to do. I apologised for my country dumb customs, and asked them to send it to me again, this time with a valid receipt. They did it without any question, although it wasnt their fault the package was sent back. got everything right the second time.

As far as i know, pretty decent store. Bigest problem is that they dont tell you if something is out stock until you already paid for it.

Anyway its ok, atleast for european customers.

For US, i dont really see the point.

I've never had a single problem in the last 3 years ordering from them.

If an item is out of stock..
1)they will find an equivalent if it's not a car part.
2)back order the item and ship when in stock. instock items will ship ahead
3)refund the money back to you.

Never had a problem with them for any order I've made over the last 3-4 years. Great service, fast and reliable. The only time they were out of stock of something I was emailed straight away, and the parts were shipped as soon as they came back in stock.

I've recently ordered a couple of new M05 minis from them, together with a few spare parts. NO PROBLEM at all. Real quick delivery to Australia.

If you ask a question world wide, you'll get a million positives and a million negatives.

A couple of years ago, RCmodel had some trouble with support and delivery..
The last year they've been top notch though, fast response and less than a week delivery to Sweden..

Used them for over 3 years, yes sometimes items say instock and are not but that happens with most shops, no system can be 100% all the time but I have always had good contact and shipping from them

I've been thinking of using other websites because of this.
