Yah, at 40mAh avg., I'd at least try running all quals with a quick charge prior to the main. But as commented above, everyone's setup probably consumes different amounts, so the only sure-fire way to tell is to try it yourself.

When I posted the question, I had no idea how much capacity would be consumed in a single race, or a whole evening. For all I knew, 200mAh could get ya 3 mins, or 3 days....I didn't know. My hope was 200mAh getting me a complete 8 min race.

But now I'm armed with good info and will promptly be ordering a couple of these up.
