What are the differences in the genx 10 early car and the car now? in getting a first model genx10 and want to upgrade it to be like the new car.

Your best bet it to just call CRC directly @ Phone (315) 338-0867 and they can direct you down the best path.

At this time the new CRC GenX10 LE is only available as a complete kit as they are not advertising an upgrade option at this time.

top load battery. A little narrower. A little lighter. I thought I read a conversion was coming too...

I called CRC on WED and talked to them about the new GEN X10 LE and they said "they had no intention of doing a upgrade kit but alot of people want it, and if people want it they will produce it". so i think in my opinion they will offer a conversion. it would suck to spend another 300 when i bought one at the end of last year just to turn arround and spend another 300. i also read somewhere that the cost of the complete kit will be around 225-250 so that price is not bad.
