On a side note Xray was well represented. Xray took 1,2,3 in expert 17.5

1 and 3 in spec 17.5 and 1st in Novice 17.5.

Thanks again

Dang, no love. It was 1-4 in Expert 17.5

It was an awesome race. Thank you Ralph/RCAmerica for supporting the local races so well. It doesn't go unnoticed.

I will be having that up soon. The first one is at west coast raceway. The next one will be later in the summer, just have a few more things to come together and I will get all the info out. The total is 7 races.

This increases the resolution of the whole system, and makes the car feel smooher without loosing any real steering (as long as you re setup your radio and endpoints correctly)

Hope that helps!
Thanks Korey, duh didn't even think about that.

You only really notice it when you actually put it all together. I didn't see it at first either. Steve Weiss was the first to point the increased resolution out

Hey Russ,
Not sure what Korey used but I know that the Xray parts you can use are 302655 for the 10mm ball studs, 302663 for the ball ends, 302516 for the steering wipers, and I'm not sure which turnbuckle people are using.

I actually ended up using a shock bottom on a longer turnbuckle. That allows the use of just a longer flat head screw on the steering rack to fix the shock ball end onto the top of the bellcrank. Pics will follow soon!

Hey Canyon,

What changes to your setup would you make for "Mod" TC at Hangar 30? Next club race I plan to spin some !!! 17.5 1/12 put me in some kind of hibernation mode , I figure MOD TC should pull me out !

Jake

The best change I did was inspired by Peter. I went back to 3 hole pistons up front to deal with the bumps better. If you look at my Emerald City Classic setup you'll see the more recent changes I did that were very effective.

That's exactly what we do. You just can't see it.
