To all the Xray guys at the Nats, Job well done. Everyone worked hard and worked together. We have a really good team and I am happy to be part of it. Xray was for sure the car to beat at the race and by far we had the most cars in the building, so a thank you goes to everyone that has a Xray car.Seeing that is what keeps the staff and the Factory drivers at RCAmerica going.

The full race report will be up soon at www.teamxray.com and there will be reports on www.rcinsider.com

Once again thanks to the team for the hard work and there time.

Thanks Drew

Just wanted to send out a personal thanks to Ralph, Drew, and the rest of the RCamerica crew. This weekend we had our biggest race of the year for a fallen racer. The Leighton Dillard Memorial race. RCamerica/Xray was the main sponsor and Ralph came through huge. Just wanted to say thanks for the support of our cause, track, and racers.

On a side note Xray was well represented. Xray took 1,2,3 in expert 17.5

1 and 3 in spec 17.5 and 1st in Novice 17.5.

Thanks again

Kevin Hawkinson

I'd like to add that even though the racing at the Nats was the main attraction, Drew was a close second. He had everyone in the pits laughing.

BTW -- Drew, I hear Traxxas has a new 12th scale in the works and they're looking for a test driver, are you interested? They say it's off-road capable.

Best regards,

Jim

Thanks Jim. We have to have fun.

Yes, they called me about that after they saw a 50-50 grind on the board that was blocking the tech area. I had to turn them down. The numbers just didn't work out...

Thanks Drew

Hey Drew,
you see some of the pics from the ETS and the servo mod? wondering your thoughts and any insight you might have about it?

From what I can see and have heard about. It made more room for the electronics. I will get more feedback from Martin at the worlds.

I know that it does not change the ackermann, it does not change the weight. So I think it was to make more room.

Thanks Drew

Where can I find the schedule for the X-Ray challenge races for this year?

There are two main benefits of the "servo mod". First is obviously electronics room. Second is he amount of servo throw it takes to get the same amount of overall steering travel. It takes more servo throw to get the same amount of "steering". This increases the resolution of the whole system, and makes the car feel smooher without loosing any real steering (as long as you re setup your radio and endpoints correctly)

Hope that helps!
