Why doesn't Xray send "support packages" for any of the electric races in the US?

Default T3 2012

Any word on the next version? Major or just minor changes? When are they typically released?

I believe they come out around October/November, and they usually don't leak any info until the car is unveiled, which is only about 2 weeks before they hit hobby shops. So we probably won't hear much for the next 6 months.

I would guess that some of the changes will be:
- New rollcenter-holders (Tamiya style)
- Geardiff

I attended an X-Ray challenge last Spring in Houston and received a support package. I had WG, Paul, Drew, Martin, Juraj, Alexander, Teemu, Metheny and Dirk (and more I can't remember) all smiling willing, and happy to look at my car, help me fix it and suggest set up help. When I had electronic issues Metheny even let me use his backup radio and receiver for the remainder of the race. I received a pit towel, t-shirt, xray greases, stickers, and the few parts I broke and I didn't have with me Xray did not charge me and gave me new ones (Thanks for the CVD's Paul). I think one of the reasons that race received "support package" had to do with the fact that it was promoted by X-Ray Slovakia where as the races in the US are more commonly supported by RCAmerica which obviously is a smaller operation.

Update from the ROAR Carpet Nats.

Paul L is TQ in Mod sedan after two rounds. Youngster Eric Albino (SP?) from Norcal is in 2nd just slightly off of Paul so it should be a great 2nd day of Quals tomorrow.

Full results can be found on www.liverc.com. You can also get pics and updates at www.rcinsider.com throughout the weekend.

Thanks
EA

Great weekend at the 2011 Carpet Nats for Team RC America/Xray/Hudy! Lots of hardware was taken home. Drew should have pics up soon. Just want to thank all of the team for the help. Had a rough weekend, but prevailed to put it 3rd on the podium.

Yup! Great weekend for the team. I didn't do as well as I hoped in my modified debut, but a very strong showing from Eric Albano gives me some extra motivation to do better next time . Great win for Paul in Modified Touring car!

Why the interest in the next version when the current version is great and has only just been released

I wouldn't bother asking at all, no-one will have any knowledge despite what they say.
Lots of things are tested constantly.

When we were waiting for what turned out to be the T3'11 we had people telling us the next version (T3'11) would definitely be shaft drive, because they knew someone who knew someone etc.

There are some people on here who are full of crap and actually know nothing.

Chain Drive. and 6 wheels. Now you all know, I was told by the the best friend's brother-in-law of my aunt's neighbor who used to work with a guy that buys gas from the station next to the dock where the 2012's are being shipped to.
