We ran 007 towers on the T3, so I imagine they work vise versa on the 008/009 to 007.

Taller shock towers basically extend the shock more. When the shock is extended, the piston is lower in the shock body. With the shock piston lower in the body, it results in a much larger volume of shock oil above the piston than before. This generally creates more "pack" when the shock is compressed quickly. In some conditions, that added pack is basically added overall traction. I've tried it on other cars with great success!

I had the towers laying around from past cars, and like Korey says, more traction. When we ran them just up front, more steering.

Any chance we will see:

1. Xray Gear Diff for the T3
2. Upper Bulkhead Clamps with Camber Link mounts

Any time soon?

I think in a earlier post Drew said he was checking into it and would let us know. I think right now they are focusing on the worlds. He should know something soon though.

Looks like the Xray USA team at the Snowbirds are off to a good start. The whole team is looking fast. EA will be stopping in from time to time to update us on the team. So stay tuned for that.

Also the new roll center parts for the camber links should be coming soon maybe on the next shipment which is set to arrive anytime. I will post the part number here when I get it.

Thanks Drew

Drew and Ralph are in Florida for the WinterNats, so I thought I would be nice and report that RCAmerica received their order this week and most of the Hudy and Xray parts they were waiting on are in.

I know this is an electric thread, but a big congrats to Ralph, Mike S., Paul and Drew in the pits for putting the Xray gas cars out front at the gas winter nats this weekend. Not too shabby for Mike and the new RX8 first time out.
