I think the issue is that some people don't associate Xray to RCAmerica and the forum is international so RCAmerica is even more so not associated with Xray.

Just a head's up. I know for the longest time I had no idea they were associated.
Thanks, I understand. Been trying to get the word out. Most of the team drivers are on here so I am trying to get guys to post question here on this thread. It will be a little easier for us. And you guys will get your question answered quicker.

Thanks Drew

Maybe have a mod change the thread title to include the RCAmerica brands like RCAmerica (Xray, Hudy, Jaco, SMC)? Just a thought.

RCAmerica isn't Associated, and they also don't sell guitars.

I thought you sold everything off? Or is RC like the mob... just when you thought you were out it keeps pulling you back in?

Good point, I should have said "related". ha ha...

I have sold everything but I do have the intent to come back some day so trying to stay up on things. Its a good diversion from the boring meeting I am in.

Default Tracks for Xray challenge!

Drew,
Please don't forget to add "The Track" at Harbor Hobbies in Winthrop Harbor Illinois to your list of candidates for a Challenge race.

not to far drive from the Lou and a short drive for Mr L.

I know Eric would be interested!

Later,
Darrald

I have a question.

I am running a T3 in a spinoff of the RCGT class, 21.5/open speedo everything else is RCGT(tires, bodies, etc.) The min. weight is 1500g. On a high grip carpet track.

Elecs:
RS pro, Putnam 21.5, s9550 servo, mrt transponder, sr300 rx and a ProTek 5000mah/40c battery.

1st of all what kind of weight dist. is best to start with f/r?
Anyone else running a T3 in RCGT or VTA? I'd be interested in seeing how and where the weight is best placed.

Thanks in advance!

When I ran RCGT on a T3 ....I used a xray lipo plate underneath my lipo. It put me about 1450g then I put about 50g in the center of my car underneath the belt....

Hope that helps

Default KO Setup

Hey Drew I'm wondering if Paul ran the "hillbilly link" on the T3'11? Do you run the same link system on your car? I hope you guys will be posting the setups on Xray site soon. Thanks

Not much, you should be able to transfer over your exact setup with the exception of Ackermann.

I've seen this done on the front end, has anyone tried it on the rear?

Not that I'm aware of because we already have the ability to run the rear camber link long by using either the 2 or 1 hole rear hubs.

here in florida there are a few of us that run the hillbilly link front and rear.it gives more rear traction
