Default What to do???

Ok so I have the original TC5 and basically everyone at my track runs a Xray... I see Xray is going to be coming out with there new one here soon and Associated too. My question is should I sell the TC5 and go Xray even if I buy the Older T3? Or should I stick with the Associated?

Its just 90% of the people at my Track are xray.

If you can get parts for it go for it. I have a 009 and i love my car. Have you consider a 009? Its not much difference between them.

I have a TC5 and just purchased the xray T3, and I love it. But, if I were in your position I would go with the TC6 just because It would be different from everyone else. But on the other hand if you go T3/T3 2011 you will probably be able to aquire parts much faster since everyone is running xray.

is the 009 lipo compatable? is there a brace that is made that will hold one in place easy? I hate tape.

If the other 90% jumped off a cliff would you do it? i kid.

I would say go with the TC6 as it shares the same components such as arms and hubs and other breakables. Both the T3 and TC6 are good but makes sense to stick with the TC6.

Also im one that likes to be different around my track and other areas. I often go for the car that isnt popular around my track

yeah, well another option for me is to just stick with the tc5 for awhile.. Cause I mean I am only club racing. I dont need the newest stuff right? I am sure a TC5 can be set up to work just as good as any of them

Xray hands down. I would go with the T3 rather than wait on the new model. Its possible that the new updated parts will fit the T3, we'll just have to wait and see

Thats a good option, staying with the tc5 and getting better in setting the car up. the tc5 is also a good car... And remember you can do a lot of tunning trough the remote...

It's not just enough to put a setup on the car, you need to know why that change works and why that one didn't. The AE thread is very useful to ask questions in, lots of support for both cars really. Some of the parts from the TC5 will transfer over to the TC6.

I saw the TC6 at the recent roar nats and it looks like a great car, the Xrays have always been great too.
