Here is a strange question for you guys...

Does anyone live in the Sacramento California area have a GTP2e that I can use to mark the mounting holes and wheel well on my brand new body? I have someone asking me to paint a body for them but I sold my GTP2e a while ago. So I can not trim the body or drill the mounting holes without a GTP2e.

Thanks for your help!

Hello from France,

some new modifications!!

I switch to Hobbywing SCT 120 Pro and it's better than my previous Hobbywing 150A. Smoother and lower temp!!

I also add some Yeah Racing fans on the Leopard motor.

Our last race was 31°C (88°F) in the air and 49°C (120°F) on the track.
After a 9mn race:
Battery (Hobby Center 4S/6.500mAh/70C): 42°C (107°F)
Moteur (Leopard 4074/2.150kv sensored with fans): 43°C (109°F)
Controler (HobbyWing SCT 120A Pro): 45°C (113°F)

Here's a video of that race (third A-Main).
My GTP2e SNR is the yellow Porsche in N°1.

Wondering what everyone has for tips..Right now I have Castle esc and 2200 motor. 6s setup running on it. I have a 47 spur and had a 20 pinion. I was using my phones gps and speedview to try and get a gps out of it. I ended up getting a reading of 76mph. I then upgraded to 29 pinion and was only getting 77mph on the reading. The car does seem faster and more unstable. It does flip easier as well. I just ordered a garmin forerunner 101 for a more accurate speed in the future. I am also going to need a new body since mine got pretty torn up. Suggestions for a body for speed runs? Suggestions for keeping it more stable at high speeds and the back end not wanting to slide out?

Running sweeps 50 shore
Stock body, no wing
Stock suspension, ride height just lower then where the stock bumper hangs down.

I have SNR carbon chassis on the way along with the front bumper and rear diffuser.

From my personal experience,

GRP B soft or PMT 20's
Ofna DP8 Body or the stock body with wing with rear lip trimmed off
Rear suspension as tight as possible.

Sweeps are terrible for speed runs.

Thanks! Anyone know when upgrading to the SNR carbon chassis if it is a direct swap over with all parts? Or are the dog bones from the center diff to the front and rear diffs going to be too short? I though I had heard mentioned it lengthened the car, but I am unsure.

It is a direct fit, the only thing you need to get if using the dm-1 front bumper and rear diffuser is 5 4x12mm screws and 5 4mm nylon lock nuts. I just did the swap last week and it is awesome you will love it!!

Hello from France,

just want to share with you some informations about ratio.

Car: OFNA Ultra GTP2e
Controller: HobbyWing SCT120 Pro
Motor: Leopard Hobby - 4074 - 2.150kv - sensored - double ventilators!!!
Battery: 4S - 6.500mAh - 70C hard case

The spur gear is 51t and internal ratio is 14/44

Short track: pinion 16/17t
Medium track: 17/18t
Large track: 19/20t

Even with 30° in the air after a 9mn race, the controller temperature is around 45°C, battery around 42°C and motor round 55°C.

Au revoir.

I like using the GRP 1:8 RALLY - B Soft from http://www.brucknerhobbies.com

$21.99 for 2 ($44 for a set) tires mounted on white wheels. Plus these tires are belted so you are good for high speed runs too.

If you ever mounted the stock ofna tires its a PITA... especially with the dual internal foam. And the non belted tires are useless once you go faster than 60MPH because it expands and flaps like crazy.
