Must admit the EFRA issues seem worse than the BRCA. Seems the EFRA euros are only a week away and yet there is problems with the Body rules.

I can't see any good reason why the BRCA stock and mod rules are different. It is and has always been that way, so i don't tend to worry too much about it.

If you want to buy a Tamiya body for $50 that will be heavy and will break after a few runs go ahead, you have that right. I'd rather spend $23 on a body and have it last 1-2 months. I don't really care about realism too much, as long as it's not butt ugly I'll run it. An attractive shot of paint can make even the crappiest bodies look good.

You got a point there fatdoggy.. Yup honestly speaking I got a tamiya calsonic skyline gt-r bodyshell and it doesn't last long for a month.. tamiya bodyshell are good and cool as you wish but in terms of durability in a long run I tend to disagree.... anyway its only my opinion...

tamiya bodies tend to crack easy, i have had a few tamiya body's( alfa 156 racing, R34 escort etc)

i have recently bought a frewer S13...i belive they dont sell them in the US???
its is light, flexible, and can take a beating from general everyday use..

i plan on racing my mission 1 anytime soon, so i have a pf alfa 2 i think it is..
and its light, and i like how strong the lower front is so it dont bend at all..

I believe the issue is more regarding EFRA rules not allowing shells like the Alfa 2, Mazda 6 or Stratus 2.

And this is because the Stratus 2 never ran in real racing on a 2 liter class, the Alfa 2 (I'm not sure why) and the Mazda 6 probably because is too recent.

The rules state that any TC with 4 doors can be used as long as the original runs in 2 liter International class.
I bet this leaves the new Caddilac, and the nice Japanese car bodies that are being used elsewhere out of EFRA competitions.

So the problem is not related to a replica or not (like Nemesis or Crowd Pleaser) but to the fact it has to race in 2 liter class.
That alone leaves several good shells out of the ver SMALL group of approved ones.

I can't imagine why stock or modified shoud have a different list. It's not the price, or the performance or the looks.
Why is it?

Again, I say that no one believes that if we are using real replicas we'll attract people to the hobby.
