Default MINI bodies

I wish someone would make bodies for mini chassis, especially the M-04. I mean like a Datsun 510, Spitfire, MGB, Bug eyed Sprite, Porsche 914, and Porsche 356. Also, the M-03: VW rabbits and other FWDs.

As far as I know, Tamiya only sells replacement bodies for the Rover Mini and the BMW Mini.

HPI make a miata, and a civic for the MO4
Bolink make a classic beetle body that fits the Rover mini

You could contact these guys and find out if some of their bodies will fit...

A V/W If I tried another VW they would take me away in a straight coat That said There so little they would be pretty easy to do but do you think you could come up with something a little more exotic?

Datsun 510 here: http://www.abchobby.com/car/01_body/index.html#02

I think its only for the short wheelbase Mini's though.

Carson did a 914, and Kawada do the 956, along with a Lotus Elan S2.

Kamtec's Rabbit (Golf) is about 208mm wheelbase.

Kyosho used to do the MGB in 190mm, but I don't know of any Spitfire's or Frog-eye Sprites.

There's only one type of body I want, a BMW E30 or E36 M3 that's not stupidly priced like Tamiya's are.

Talking

I want to thank everyone for the responses. I enjoy racing the minis (in addition to my touring car). It is good to see that others enjoy these cars too. Now if the sactioning bodies would follow South Africa's lead and have a class for these cars, then possibly more manufacturers whould make bodies for these cars.

Same here in the UK, the only place to race them is either at local club level, or the Xray T1M in the HPI/Xray Challenge.

Heres my Supra on my old T1M:

Sorry for the thread hi-jack!

Danny, DH2 bodied cars again dominate the mod class at round 2 of the southern tasmanian model car club winter series. These bodies are just awesome. I will be trying one in stock( at round 3 in two weeks time) to compare it with the pf mazda 6 body i normally run.
Again thanks for an awesome body, they are great.
