To add to that, the car will change direction faster which is really apparent on tracks with chicanes. Since our asphalt and carpet tracks over here in the U.S. tend to have more grip than Euro style tracks we pretty much run them 99% of the time, 50mm driveshafts that is.
Hi Fred, do the ECS driveshafts wear out and require complete replacement or are the wear parts easily purchased at a cheaper rate?
Is 50mm what you use with the NT1 gear different too?

Here is what I see when trying to adjust the rear motor screw. The button head screw will not fit through the the large hole on the 96 spur gear and I don't have enough room to insert the driver to adjsut the rear screw either.
Am I missing something?

Hey Brett, eventually the parts do wear but of course wear is a function of how much power is run in the car. Even in mod I don't replace parts that often. Yep all the parts can be purchased separately. With all the current gear diffs available we have to run 50mm shafts...for the moment.

Our you can open that one hole up with a reamer or drill. Just go in and make the opposite hole the same size to keep it balanced. This is what I have done in the past. Your taking so little material off you probably dont really even need to do the opposite hole but I did anyway.
