I guess your shop didnt order quick enough. Mine got 4 that were pre sold out of the first batch (of around 100 kits). The next batch will be larger and last I heard was well over half way pre sold. So if you want one you better make sure your local shop puts that order in!

Let's keep this comment in mind next year when someone tries to tell us that Xray only sold 100 of the T3'11 kits

You can use the stock blades with the 50mm bones.

But if you run your front end wider than 1.5mm shimmed at arm u will break blades all day unless you run:
1- locked multidiff (fragile outdrives)
2- flyfox 50mm spool out drives (beefcake!)

I always run my front end at 2.25mm and I never have an issue with breaking blades.

Well no one has proven what I was told wrong yet either. Honestly it made no sense to me, but that's what I was told. Besides the T3'11 was released sooner than the T3. How many kits made it to the US? Until we see numbers you don't know squat either. I've only seen one T3 at our track. There are a lot of older Xrays, but only one T3 and he's a team driver. A 008 has been on the shelf at my LHS since it came out. Given what I've seen at my track and what I've been told a reasonable person could believe it's possible, but I would hope not. Make any sense now? Why go on and on with this? I think I made my point clear, and any sensible person could understand why I came to this conclusion. Xray makes good products so it's not a matter or quality, so I guess it's a matter of perception or cost. IDK for sure, but I wonder.

Any sensible person would realize that the RC Industry is bigger than you and your home track!

Fred - I gotta say your better than me bro. I can usually look at a board when running the XRay Aluminum Spool Cups and break blades.

Have you tried taking 2 of the 1mm plastic shims that come with the kit, cutting 2 parallel flat edges on them and place a shim behind the cup on each side to make the spool 2mm wider overall?

That would work too.. but w/o some sort of modification average drivers will have issues ..

What I meant was, will the stock blades fit inside the out drives of the Spec-R gear diff? I heard you had to use different ones but wasn't sure.
