Xray T3 2011

but seriously, you guys realise that you can mount the receiver on its side? It doesnt have to be flat on the chassis

Anyone know if you can get a Futaba receiver and a Tekin RS all on the chassis? Now, I think I would of rather had the servo at a 90 degree, after finding out it's 7mm back, and a wider chassis as well. Now that several drivers are opting for a larger servo to help balance the car front to rear. It appears pushing the servo in may have not been the way to go.
Guess we will see that they do next year, until then looking forward to building mine. Sux I didn't get in on the first order.

It wont do anything, it just looks ugly
A guy that i race with said, I quote "I would rather give up RC, than put my receiver on the servo"
he is gonna be dissapointed when he see's my car i think
I ran the Max Carbon Camberlink bulkheads Today, They were very nice.
My T3 was great today, just hope the same setup transfers over to the new car

Hey guys, I'm looking for aluminum shocks for the T3 2011. Should I get the Xray PN 308306-O or should I get the Tamiya TRF 42102?
Has anyone tried the Tamiya shocks on the T3?
Thanks.

So with a bit of massaging managed to get everything flat on chassis, JUST
Good luck to anyone running the traditional Futaba Receiver or a full size ESC like a SP GT
I had to make a new forward servo hole to mount the Savox Servo, with some careful shimming nothing hits.
Ari - I assume you have a KO servo in it? It would use the forward rear hole.
So anyone looking to buy new equipment i suggest if your not handy with a dremel grab a KO servo, Xray seem to have love for them only
Equipment used, Savox low profile servo, Spektrum Receiver, Hobbywing Extreme stock ESC, and Novak Motor (all orange and black stuff to match the car
)
I just need to find a neat place to put the PT, it has the same space problem as the 416, can not place it flat on the chassis at the front due to the steering arms arc of movement

Car looks nice Besercoe.
You should shorten your motor wires, you would not have that big loop then.

Just finished my T3'11 build with savox low pro servo,PT mounted on end of servo, futaba 604 reciever(mounted on side)and tekin RS esc with trinity duo 1 motor, unbelievably I did not have to add a single gram of wieght and it is balanced perfectly side to side front to back!!
